Hi! I'm Is.
--> 2nd year Graphic Design student @ Kingston University
A project done with a partner, Alice Blencowe, exploring the word 'sway'. Using a collection of objects laid out together on and around a table, we tried to express the feeling of swaying in a small scale.
A group project with George Houghton and Noni Braithwaite. Thinking about the feeling of waking up in the night and lacking a sense of time and place, we made a clock that can be engaged with through both sight and touch, that sits flat on a bedside table.

In response to a single square of the London A-Z, in Highbury and Islington, I made weavings drawn from pattern-making in the residential buildings of three roads that stood in contrast to each other. I chose this process to reflect the modular nature of the houses, and to acknowledge the existence of anomaly and regularity, as well as interior and facade.
